"97+99" is an anthology of Christian music
performed and recorded by 70x7 and friends at various points in time throughout
the band's history. Included are tracks produced in 1997, 1999, and 2001. The
"97+99" CD begins with "Thundercloud," which was the first
song released by the band on the Christian Music Association's "Radio Sampler
Volume 4" CD in 1998. This anthology finishes with 70x7's most successful
and critically-acclaimed song, "Cold Rain," which was written as a
response to the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Among the talented performers
on this album are B.J. Collins (keyboards/vocals), Ed Friedenberger (alto saxophone/flute),
Ron Baling (guitar/vocals), Sharon Baling (vocals), Jerry Hayostek (bass guitar),
Barth Tamenne (guitar), Rod Irvin (drums), Butch Fritz (guitar/bass/vocals),Dave
Klysz (drums), John Fiore (guitar) and Tim Grealish (vocals). Songs on the CD
were produced by Jeff O'Donnell (1997), Butch Fritz (1999), B.J. Collins (2000),
and John Fiore (2001). The CD was mastered by Bob Luttrell, and artwork was
created by B.J. Collins.
